There is a nice story to this filly, which will explain her special meaning to me:
My twin-sister Niky, who lives in Germany, owns a Trakehner mare "Insel 8" which we used to share, when I still lived with her. This mare's color and markings are bay, a star on her forehead and a small white hind left sock. These are the exact same markings and color my filly "SMK Scottish Pride Insel 9" has. Niky's mare "Insel 8" turned 20 years old on April 28 2003, my filly was born on April 28 2003. So I named her "Insel 9". |
